Theme Week: Fall Layout

Posted on Sep 24, 2015 9:00:00 AM

Hello, my dear crafty friends, Irit here! Welcome to Paper House Theme Week! A themed project uses themed papers and stickers, and fall—just around the corner—is a perfect theme for perfect projects. But I didn't find a lot of fall-themed papers in the shop, so I just made my own "themed kit" with very similar papers in the fall style. So here is my fall layout, and the PH 3D sticker title says it all: Fall into Autumn! My lovely photos and those lovely papers and stickers made my layout great.

Fall Layout- Irit ShalomLiving in Israel makes a real fall something you can only see when out of the country. We actually have only summer, followed by a very hot summer. So I try to catch fall photos whenever it's possible, and this is a mix of them on this page (not sure exactly where I took them, but in Europe in 2014, that's for sure).

I worked with themed patterned paper and just one package of fall stickers and made my own sketch for all five photos.

Product Used:

Paper House Plywood Scrapbook Paper
Paper House At the Lake Wood Scrapbook Paper
Paper House Lowlands Camo Scrapbook Paper
Paper House Garden Canvas Art Stickers
Paper House Lakeshore SnapShots™ Stickers
Paper House Fall into Autumn 3D Stickers
Paper House Fall Foliage Scrapbook Paper
Embellishments: Leaves - Flourish with a Bling

1. Cut the Fall Foliage paper to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2''. Distress the edges and glue it over the base paper with a little diagonal twist as shown.

2. Cut a few strips from the At the Lake Wood paper and add the 1/2'' strips vertically on the left side of your page. Distress them all before adhering over the page.

3. Make a matte from the At the Lake Wood and Lowlands Camo papers and glue your 6 x 4'' trimmed photo over the matte. Then glue the matted photo in the upper right of your page.

4. Trim the other photos to 3 x 4'' and make mattes for them. Glue them over the strips as shown. Add 3D stickers, one SnapShots™ sticker, and one canvas sticker as shown.

5. Add plastic leaves under the upper right 3D sticker. Add your handwritten journaling on the bottom of the page with white pen.

Thanks for stopping by!
