Make a Wish Upon a Starfish

Hello, Giorgia here. My husband and I love to travel, so I have billions of great pictures to scrap... and Paper House has everything I need to do that!

Here we were at Point Piedras Blanca, a California beach where there are seals resting in the sun. I have a lot of Paper House beach themed products, and I love how they combine perfectly with the new ones, such as SnapShots™ and Cork’d™ Stickers!

I used one of my favorite paper pads, Endless Summer—it has great colors and some awesome glittered papers!

As usual, I distressed papers to add texture. I created a pearl frame for my picture because it adds color and works great with glittered die cuts from the Serene Beach Diecut Sticker Pack. I also created a cluster of Cork’d™ Stickers; they are perfect for a beach layout!

I love Paper House Chipoxy Stickers so much! They are glossy, glittered, and come in so many themes. Since Point Piedras Blanca has a lighthouse, I used this cute chipoxy lightouse to add dimension and even more glitter:

I used also two At the Shore SnapShots™ Stickers. They are so cute with the paper clips and the added die cuts. A wood veneer, another cork sticker, and some gems in matching colors are the perfect final touches to embellish the layout.

For the title, I used another die cut sticker with a cute sentiment:

I hope you liked my layout! Here is the step-by-step to make it.

Products Used:

Paper House Endless Summer Paper Pad
Paper House Just Beachy Chipoxy Stickers
Paper House Serene Beach Diecut Sticker Pack
Paper House At the Shore SnapShots™ Stickers
Paper House Live Laugh Love Cork'd™ Stickers
Paper House Sunshine Cork'd™ Stickers
Other: gems, pearls, wood veneer

Directions:

1. The background paper is one from the Endless Summer Paper Pad.

2. For the layers, cut other papers from the same pad, distress them (don’t worry if they tear; the more distressed, the better!), and adhere them as shown.

3. Glue down the picture.

4. Now add the Chipoxy sticker, the die cut sticker for the title, and the stickers in the top left corner of the picture.

5. Create a frame on the picture using pearls.

6. Now embellish the right part of the layout using SnapShots™ Stickers, a wood veneer boat, a little cork fish, and some gems in matching colors as shown.

7. Your layout is ready!

Thanks for stopping by!
