Halloween Hauntings

Hi everyone, Laura here! It’s time to get all those Halloween pics together and get them scrapped! The new Halloween papers and embellishments from Paper House are spooktacular! For this LO, I chose the Paper House Apothecary paper. haunting1

Because of the design of this paper, I created a LO that looks like a printer's tray shadow box. The paper has many pre-printed items, but still leaves many spaces to decorate using some of the fun Paper House embellishments, like the Jack O’Lanterns puffy stickers and Halloween Hauntings cardstock stickers:

Here is a perfect example of how well all these elements work together:

The ink bottle and medicine bottle are printed on the paper, the pumpkins and spider (on the "Spellbinding" sticker) are puffy stickers, and the candle, the raven, "Spellbinding," and the book are all cardstock stickers. I used foam tape on some and put others directly on the paper to vary the depth and textures.

Here is another place where the stickers are mixed in with pre-printed images on the paper:

I also scuffed up the edges of my pictures with a sanding block to give them a border so they stand out, but they still have a “spooky” feel.

Thanks for stoppin’ by today! Stop back soon. We have so much more inspiration to share with you—a lot of holiday inspiration coming soon!
