Hello everyone! Have you been enjoying card week? So much fun inspiration! Today I’m sharing a birthday card with you, made from a paper bag:

I’ve recently become addicted to making these! You start with a plain small paper bag. You can use colorful bags if you’d like, but I like to just use the kraft-colored bags. Leave it folded and trim the top down a bit. The bottom of my bag measured 3", so I left the top at about 3 1/2", then used a paper punch along the top edge. Glue down only the sides of the bottom flap, and then—yes, it’s really this simple—just decorate. I’ve used the ColorWays Emerald collection and the puffy candle stickers, along with the puffy Believe word stickers.

I also wanted to include a little extra something, so I made a simple bookmark to add to the pocket on the front. You could add a gift card or note if you’d like. For the back of the bag, you could add a treat, but I chose to make a jumbo tag. I just cut cardstock and decorated using the same ColorWays papers, added a few of the rub-ons, enamel dots, and a little ribbon, and it was done. You can see I did fussy-cut a couple of corners from one of the ColorWays papers, and then slipped in a place for a gift card:

These cards are so fun to make; I really hope you’ll give it a try!
