32 Years - True Story

Hello, my dear crafty friends! This is Irit here today, and this is the story of my True Story layout.

Usually, it's pretty hard to make masculine layouts. You can't add too many embellishments; you can't add too many rhinestones, too much glitter, bling, or anything with sparkle. The colors are pretty much muted and monochromatic, and our men don't like to be on that side of a camera.

So when I have good photos of my husband of 32 years, I scrap them, but if this photo fits the most gorgeous Paper House Old World paper pad patterns, I am more than happy with it.

I took this photo on our short cruise vacation to Cyprus. It just screamed "scrap me" with the old window paper. To make it more interesting, I used distress ink with a stencil over the paper to imitate the old stone wall. The only products not from PH are the ones in my mixed title, made with part of a diecut tag and a few letter stickers.

1. Cut the window paper into two pieces. The left strip should be cut as a brick wall pattern. The inside should be cut into an 8x8'' piece. Make the stone pattern with a stencil and brown distress ink, and then glue the 8x8'' paper over the basic green one.

2. Glue the photo under the window and add a cut out tag and letters as shown.

3. Add all stickers around the page as shown. Handwrite your journaling over the chalkboard sticker and glue it near the photo.

It's so fun and easy to make great pages with loads of PH stickers of every possible kind! Thanks for stopping by!
